Online symposium of the IONM Reference Network:
The last Online Symposium of the IONM Reference Network on 24 June 2020 was a great experience.

The meeting focused on the latest developments in IONM in thyroid surgery.
Topics of the interesting lectures included the potential for international data exchange in IONM by a central data accumulation.

In addition new perceptions of the combination of TOETVA and IONM, as well as a new trend in thyroid surgery: The autofluorescence imaging in (para)thyroid surgery.
After the lectures we took the opportunity to discuss further steps and strategies of IONM in thyroid surgery.
